Tamarack Villa Bed and Breakfast is situated in the Shuswap at the north end of the Okanagan Valley, and only a fifteen minute drive southeast of Salmon Arm. The view is always changing and mother nature puts on some amazing displays during the summer months as the sun slowly sets over the Fly Hills and Shuswap Lake. On clear nights the stars are almost touchable. We have a firepit which can be a way to share some music and stories under the stars. There is a good chance that there might be a few soft melodies on the piano as you drift off to sleep in one of our comfortable beds. There are two pianos and a Wurlitzer Organ available for playing.
Experience the serenity of 20 park like acres. There are many walking trails with a variety of native plants including false solomon seal, ferns, Queen's cup and bunchberry to name a few. The trails wind through white birch, poplar, western red cedar, white pine, Douglas fir, hemlock and of course, tamarack (also known as larch).
Enjoy the fruits of our labour. As part of our breakfast, depending on the season, we serve freshly picked strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries. Breakfast is served in our dining room or on our covered deck. Afterwards, enjoy a stroll through the forest or amongst the many flower gardens and fruit trees.
